Every jar of sauce has a story, but ours starts long before there was a warehouse or a delivery truck. It started in a bustling Nashville kitchen, where my mother Lucy and my uncle Mike spent hours perfecting the recipes that would one day become household staples.
It was 1964. The smell of simmering tomatoes, garlic, and fresh herbs filled the air. Friends, family, and neighbors would gather around the table, tasting and laughing as Lucy stirred and tasted again and again. Every batch of sauce was an act of love, patience, and devotion — values that still guide our business today.
The classic Luciana’s Marinara Sauce captured the essence of Italian comfort food: rich, balanced, and comforting. And when Lucy experimented with a little heat, Luciana’s Spicy Marinara Sauce was born — bold, fiery, and unforgettable.

In 2009, we founded Coco’s Wholesale & Imports, building on the legacy of Coco’s Italian Market & Restaurant, a Nashville favorite. What started as serving our neighborhood grew into a mission: to bring authentic Italian flavors to grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores, and specialty markets across the region.
Our sauces are still made and packed by our family’s longtime partner, who has been with us since those early kitchen days. Every batch is slow-simmered, hand-checked, and bottled with the same care Lucy insisted upon.
